    What is your “Why”?

I am Genesis, before being a soccer coach, I am a human being. I am a joyful, resilient and determined person.

I used to be a very passionate soccer player with many dreams, but life had a different plan and purpose for me. My retirement as a soccer player was earlier than I had desired due to unexpected circumstances. However, that unexpected circumstance led me to make the best decision which was becoming a youth soccer coach.

I’ve been coaching for 9 years. I am very passionate about learning, innovating and developing. I am a believer that sports can transform someone’s life in many senses: As an athlete and as a human being. I see soccer as a vehicle to empower girls to become complete players (technical, confident, smart, autonomous, positive leaders and teammates) but also good, confident and positive role models for our society.

That’s why I decided to create Big Potential Training in 2022. I wanted to provide girl soccer players with what I did not have when I was young: a safe and positive place for girls to enhance, reinforce and discover their potential in life through the game of soccer and under the guidance of positive female role models.

As a coach, I am very passionate about developing. I focus on developing technical, creative and confident players that can understand the game to play it with purpose with and without the ball.

    What is your “Why”?

I am a passionate woman about sports, especially soccer and cycling. Thanks to sports, I've learned important life values such as responsibility, commitment, resilience, respect and effort. All of which have impacted my life as an athlete and as a person.

My purpose is to transfer my knowledge and experience to the new generation that I can coach, in an effective and enjoyable way. To help foster an environment where they can develop safely and positively for the long-term. I really love coaching soccer because it allows me to reconnect with the inner "soccer girl" of many years ago.

    What is your “Why”?

I found my calling very young in life and that calling was soccer. The impact that soccer has had in my life has taught me lessons that extend far beyond the pitch and have had a significant influence on the person I've developed into. Playing soccer taught me the importance of unity, consistency, perseverance and the art of working smart, not only hard. As a youth coach it is my goal to help positivity influence any player, I have the opportunity of working with.

My calling in life is to impart the love of this beautiful game to the next generation; to help players develop good habits on and off the field that will help them develop both as players and human beings.
